Johor Bahru, 15th July 2020 – Celebrating Malaysia’s 63rd Birthday, R&F Mall is organizing a Kids Colouring and Drawing Competition entitled “My National Heroes” with two major themes – ‘Unity’ and ‘Unsung Heroes’, paying tribute to individuals and organisations leading the fight against the pandemic. Starting from 15th July to 5th August 2020, kids aged from 4 to 12 years old are welcomed to submit their artworks to R&F Mall; All collected art pieces will be showcased at an art exhibition at R&F Mall indoor concourse from 7th August to 6th September 2020.
The themes of the competition, ‘Unity’ and ‘Unsung Heroes,’ encourage all children to draw the national hero of their hearts. ‘National Heroes’ can be our national leaders, medical frontliners, public servants, or even a friends and family members who have been united together and make Malaysia a better place. To ensure shoppers’ safety, there will be no group colouring and drawing session; while children can mail or hand-deliver their artworks according to the categories:
All submissions will be displayed at R&F Mall indoor concourse from 7th August to 6th September 2020. With patriotic theme ‘Unity’ and ‘Unsung Heroes’, the exhibition will showcase two sections including kids colouring and drawing competition entries, and also Malaysian local artists’ art pieces. R&F Mall has invited over 50 local artists to showcase their works at the exhibition, centred on the patriotic spirit among Malaysians.
Throughout the exhibition period, all competition entries are open for public voting and online voting on R&F Mall’s Facebook page. All votes are countable in the final results and the winners will receive cash vouchers more than RM3000! The awards ceremony is going to be held on Malaysia’s 63rd Independence Day – 31st August 2020.

From 7th August to 6th September, the general public can visit the exhibition, centred on the patriotic spirit among Malaysians, from 10am to 10pm at R&F Mall indoor concourse. Continue to comply with health and safety guidelines, the number of visitors within the exhibition area will be controlled and limited at one time.
